The gelatin used meets the quality requirements of the National Formulary (supplement to the US Pharmacopeia). The capsule manufacturing process is controlled to CGMP standards. They are made from 100% kosher gelatin derived from ruminant animals under 30 months of age. Gelatin is sourced from the hides of ruminants from South Africa, Korea, and the USA.
